This is the last Will & Testament of William Nicholls of Grafton Regis in the county of Northampton yeoman I resign my soul to Almighty God in humble hopes of forgiveness of all my transgressions through the mediation of my blessed Redeemer I will that all legal debts I shall owe at the time of my decease with my funeral expences be paid I give and bequeath to my dear wife Mary Nicholls all my stock and effects and all other my Personal Estate of what nature kind or quality soever and wheresoever she paying all my legal debts out of the same And I constitute and appoint my said dear wife Mary Nicholls sole executrix of this my Will hereby revoking all former wills by me made and do ratify this writing as and for my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said William Nicholls have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourth day of December in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and seventy two

Signed sealed published and declared by the said William Nicholls as and for his last Will in the presence of us who have subscribed our names as witnesses at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other

On the 1st. May 1782 Mary Nicholls the sole executrix named in the within will was then sworn faithfully to perform the same and that the Deceased at the time of his death was not possessed of a personal Estate to the amount of three hundred pounds
