The Will of Ann Ross late of Grafton Regis Spinster deceased Proved the 29 March 1817

This is the last Will and Testament of me Ann Ross of Grafton Regis in the County of Northampton spinster in Manner and form following that is to say First I give andbequeath to my Brother Robert Ross of Sherrington in the County of Buckingham Yeoman. All and singular my Household Goods and Implements of Household Chattels Monies Effects and Personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of every Nature Sort or Kind soever. To Hold the same unto the said Robert Ross his Executors Administrators and Assigns to and for his and their own Use benefit and disposal. Subject never the less and charged and chargable and I do hereby charge and subject all my said Personal Estate to and with the Payment of the sum of Twenty Pounds which I hereby give and bequeath to my Great Nephew John Dawson Son of John Dawson of Grafton Regis aforesaid and Elizabeth his Wife to be paid within the space of six Calendar Months next after my Decease. And subject and charge and Chargable and I do hereby charge and subject all my said Personal Estate to and with Payment of my just Debts and Funeral Expenses and the Charge of proving this my Will. And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Brother Robert Ross sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament. And lastly I do hereby revoke disannul and make void all former and other Will and Wills by me ay any time or times hereto fore made and do declare and publish this and this alone to be and containing my true and whole last Will and Testament In Witness hereof The said Ann Ross the Testative have to this my last Will and Testament set my Hand and Seal the sixth day of September in the Year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and fourteen.

On the 29th day of March 1817 Robert Ross of Sherrington in the County of Buckingham Farmer the sole Executor named in the Will was then sworn well and faithfully to perform the same at the time of her death (which happened on the 17th day of March 1817) was not possessed of a Personal Estate to the Amount of two hundred Pounds.
