In the Name of God Amen Mary Wyatt of Kings Grafton in the County of Northampton widow being of sound mind and memory and understanding make and declare this to be my last will and testament in manner following that is to say I give and bequeath unto my Brother Richard ffinal the Nominal sum of two hundred pounds in the Joint Stock of two pounds per Cent Bank annuities now standing in my name in the Books of the Govenor and Company of this Bank of England together with all the Dividends thereof that shall be in at my death and I give and bequeath unto my Executrixes herein after named and the Survivor of them her Executor or administrators the like Nominal Sum of two hundred pounds in the said Joint Stock of three pounds per Cent reduced Bank annuities now also standing in my name in the Books of the said Govenor and Company upon trust that they my said Executors and the survivor of them her Executors or administrators do and shall permit and fully quit ..enze and impower my Sister Martha Smith the wife of Joseph Smith to receive all the yearly dividends and Interest and produce of the said Nominal Sum of two hundred pounds as the same shall from time to time during the … lives of her and her said husband grow due and become payable to and for her own Sole Separate and personal use and benefit and wherewith her said husband shall not intermeddle or have any control or power over the same nor shall the same be Subject or liable to his debts or Engagement and incase my said Sister shall Survive her said husband then upon Trust that they my said Executors and the survivor of them her Executors or Administrators do and shall forthwith after the decease of the said Joseph Smith Assign and transfer the said last mentioned Nominal Sum of two hundred pounds unto her my said Sister Martha Smith to and for her own use for evermore but incase my said Sister should depart this life in the life time of her said husband then upon this further Trust that they my said Executrixes and the Survivor of them her Executors or administrators do and shall forthwith after the decease of my said Sister Martha Smith Assign and transfer the said last mentioned Nominal Sum of two hundred pounds unto such of the children of my said Brother Richard ffinall as shall be living at the time of the decease of my said Sister Martha Smith in equal share and proportions Item I give and bequeath unto my two Sisters Elizabeth ffinall and Sarah ffinall spinsters during their joint lives all the yearly divided Interest and produce of the Nominal Sum of four hundred pounds in the Joint Stock of old South Sea annuities now also standing in my Name and from and after the decease of either of them my said Sisters Elizabeth and Sarah then I give and bequeath the said Nominal Sum of ffour hundred pounds unto the Survivor of them for her own use forever more and I also give and bequeath unto my said Executrixes and the Survivor of them her Executors and Administrators the Nominal Sum of one hundred pounds in the said Joint Stock of old South Sea annuities upon Trust that they my said Executrixes and the Survivor of them her Executors and administrators do and shall permit and fully authorize and impower my said two Sisters Elizabeth and Sarah during their joint lives to receive all the yearly dividend Interest and produce of the said Nominal Sum of one hundred pounds in the Stock of old South sea Annuities and after the decease of either of them then I give and bequeath all the said yearly dividend Interest and produce of the said last Nominal Sum of one hundred pounds unto the Survivor of them my said Sister Sarah and Elizabeth for and during the natural life of such Survivor and after the decease of such Survivor then I give and bequeath fifty pounds of the said Nominal Sum of One hundred pounds unto my niece Mary Mathews spinster and the remaining fifty pounds of the said Nominal Sum of one hundred pounds I give and bequeath unto my nieces Mary ffinall and Sarah ffinall in equal shares and proportion and I also give and bequeath unto my said niece Mary Mathews the farther nominal Sum of ffour hundred pounds in the said Joint Stock of old South Sea Annuities now also standing in my name to her own use Item I give and bequeath unto my said Sisters Elizabeth and Sarah during their joint lives and the life of the Survivor of them the use of all my household goods and furniture plate linnen and china and from and after the decease of the Survivor of them then I give and bequeath my said household goods and furniture plate linen and china unto my said niece Mary Mathews and I also give and bequeath unto my niece Mary Mathews all the rest and residue of my personal estate not heretofore disposed of she my said niece Mary Mathews well and truly paying all my Just debts and ffunerall Expences and I do hereby nominate and appoint my said sisters Elizabeth and Sarah ffinall together with my said niece Mary Mathews said Executors of this my will and hereby revoking all former Will and Wills by me made declare this to be my only last will and testament In Testamony whereof the said Mary Wyatt have to this last will and testament contained in the two sheets of paper set my hand to the first sheet thereof and my hand seal to this second and last this twentith day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty three Mary Wyatt signed published and declared by the said testator as and for her last will and testament in the presence of us Edward Harston Wm. Croke Jun.
This Will was proved at London the thirteenth day of June in the year of our Lord in one thousand seven hundred and eighty three before worshipful George Warris Doctor of Law and Surrogate of the Right worshipful Pre Calvert .. of law Quarter Keeper of Concensyary of the purogative court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the oath of Mary Mathews spinster the niece of the deceased and one of the executors named in the said will to whom administration was granted of all and singular the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased … been first Sworn duly to administer … of making the like grant to Elizabeth ffinall and Sarah ffinall spinsters the Sisters of the said deceased and the other executors named in the will when they neither of them shall apply for the same.
