In the name of God amen the 23d of January 1692/3 and in the 3rd. year of the raine of our Sovereinge Lords William & Marey King and Quene Defender of the fayth etc. I John Smyth of Grafton Regis in the Countey of Northampton yoman beeing in sond mind for which I prase God for Doe make and ordaine this my Last Will and Testment in Manner and forme Folling.
Item I doe Give and beequethe of that Littel that I have to my wife and Children furst I give to my Sone Richard ten pounds to bee payd to him att his Respectif age of one & twenty yeares next I give and beequeathe to my Sone John the Same Summe of ten pounds when hee Retaines to his age of one and twenty yeare I give and beequeathe to my Daughter Elizeabeth the Same Sume of ten pounds to be payd to hur att the age of twenty one yeares by my Exctore Mr. James Horton but In Case Eather of my Sayd Children should hapen to die beefore they Ataine to the agges of one and twentey yeares that thre monyes is payable theen the Sumes to bee demed to Such as shalle bee then Living and All my Goodes I dooe give and beequeathe to my wife of house?le goods for the Edacation and bring up my Children and the bond of fivepounds that is in my hand I desier to bee given to my Mother Anne Smyth If I shee bee not Contented to Live with my wif Elizabeth Smith Mr. James Horton as I am a dieing man to dooe this for my wife and Childrens Sake Sooe Revoking all other will this is my Last will and Testament
