"Abstract of 228 leases of the estates of the Dowager Queen Katherine of Braganza. Much of this land later became the property of the Duke of Grafton. They occupy only pp187-280, the rest of the volume being blank. On p281 there is a memo in pencil that there were several leases passed by the Queen's Council between 18th July 1705 & the Queen's death. Accession 1956/31. Paper. English".
The following leases refer to Stoke Bruerne, Shutlanger and other Cleyley parishes. So far (17/10/02) only Stoke Bruerne and Grafton have been fully transcribed.
