Richard deWydville of Grafton,
Constable of the Tower of London and Lieutenant of Calais.
Thomas had a brother Richard de Wydeville, who distinguished himself fighting for Henry V in France and had been Esquire of the body to Henry V, his 'very notable services' were rewarded with lands in that country, lucrative high offices, and a knighthood. He married Elizabeth Bedelgate (daughter of John Bedelgate). He seems to have settled down at Grafton after the death of his elder brother, Thomas, and died sometime about 1441-2.
