The infants are taught in a corner of the room in unsuitable desks arranged so as to prevent proper supervision and at right angles to those occupied by the older scholars, The old desks should be replaced by others of more modern type, of suitable length to allow all the desks to be arranged so as to face the one way. Better provision for ventilating the new cloak-room is desirable. |

Two absentees suffering whooping cough. For the last three weeks the children have most of them developed a very bad cough, which in some cases is tuning to Whooping cough. Progress somewhat retarded by the noise of incessant coughing. |
