Copy of H. M. Inspectors Report 12-10-23
1923
Mixed & Infants
There is little change to notes in the general condition of this small school since the Report of October 1920 was issued. The Head Teacher retires within the next three months after 40 years of continuous service and she has the satisfaction of knowing that she leaves the school in a state of commendable efficiency.
The outstanding feature is the good level of attainment in Reading, Arithmetic and Writing, and considering the difficult experience in teaching concurrently children ranging from 4 - 14 years of age very sound progress is being made in other school subjects.
The improvement which has taken place in the method of teaching of Drawing is desirous of special mention. |
