A General Meeting of members was held in the Schoolroom on 29 September.

The Rector presided and opened and closed the meeting with prayer.

Minutes. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed.

Whist Drive & Dance. The Secretary reported that the Dance held on Sept 12 & Whist Drive on 15 Sept shewed a deficit of 1/11d - which was turned into a credit by stock & Prizes on hand.

Services rendered. The Rector was nominated to interview the Mrs Morton, Gascoyne & Cox as to whether they would accept a present of kind in consideration of their past services with the Refreshments.

Subscriptions. It was decided that subscription for September be cancelled owing to wet season for Cricket.
Kenneth Allen was questioned as to whether he continued to refuse to pay his subscriptions, and he promised to pay the amount due. It was decided that he must pay all arrears by Oct 31st.

It was decided that the subscriptions for the winter session to be fourpence per week.

Requisites. The Secretary was authorized to purchase 4 Packs of Cards, Draugths & 6 Tea Spoons.

Finance. Treasurer reported cash in hand £2. 17. 4d.

A Committee meeting was held in the Schoolroom on Monday 6th October.
Present. The Rector, Messrs. Markham, G Webb, W Bosworth, Morton, Treasurer & Secretary.

The meeting was opened and closed with prayer.

Minutes. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed.

Finance. Treasurer reported cash in hand £2. 15. 4d.

Cleaning. Mrs Allen asked for payment of 2/- for cleaning School after whist Drive & Dance, but no extra work had been done by her on these occasions. Arising out of this question the Rector was nominated to interview her as to the extent of duties performed for cleaning after Club nights & report at the next meeting.

Drive & Dance. It was decided to have a Whist Drive & Dance on either Oct 17th or 24th if arrangements could be made for a pianist for either date suitable to him. Charge for admission 1/- to commence at 7.30 pm. M.Cs. Messrs Gascoyne & Lunn.

Punt. Decided that the Punt should be destroyed.

Guy Ropes. Rector reported that he was unable to obtain the Guy ropes and after discussion it was agreed to let the matter drop.

Library. The Rector had made a gift of 14 Books and it was agreed to charge the members one penny per book for a fortnight and one penny a week not exceeding a further two weeks and if the book is not returned at the end of one month the defaulting member to be reported to the Committee.

Subscriptions. The question of some members objecting to pay fourpence per week was discussed and the Rector was nominated to see the dissatisfied members and obtain their reasons for their action.

Present. The Rector, Messrs Elliot, Markham, G Webb, S. Hall, Treasurer & Secretary.

The meeting was opened and closed with prayer.

Minutes. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed.

Finance. Treasurer reported cash in hand £j2. 15. 4d.

Subscriptions. It was agreed to reduce subscription from 1/4d per month to 1/- a month.

Draughts Tournament. It was agreed to have a Draughts Tournament to commence on 20th October and members to pay an entrance fee of one penny.

Whist Drive & Dance. It was agreed to have the next W.D. & D. on 31st October.

Cricket materials. Mr Elliot returned material to Secretary - except "The Net" which Mr Elliot agreed to keep at the Loofe Building.

Present: Messrs Elliott (in the Chair), Markham, Bosworth, Treasurer & Secretary.

Minutes. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed.

Finance. Treasurer reported £3. 6. 10d in hand.

W.D. & Dance. Agreed to hold a Whist Drive and Dance on 14 November. Mr Gascoyne M.C. for Drive and Mr Lunn M.C. for Dance.

It was agreed for Secretary to write to Col Lombe for a donation towards the funds or W.Drive prizes.

Subs. Kenneth Allen having failed to pay his subscription for summer Session by 31st Oct he was asked when he intended to pay and he promised to clear the books by 7th November.

A Committee Meeting was held in the Schoolroom on Monday 17 November.

Present. The Rector, Messrs Elliott, Markham, (G) Webb, Bosworth, Treasurer & Secretary.

Minutes. The minutes of the previous meeting were read & confirmed.

Finance. Treasurer reported £5. 0. 4d in hand.

W.D. & Dance. Secretary reported that W.D. & Dance held on 14 November realised a credit Balance of £1. 0. 1d. Decided to have the next W.D. & D. on 28 Nov and Messrs Lunn & Markham nominated to act as M.C's.

It was agreed that M.C. for W. Drive to inform Players the following resolution:

"That the winning Gentn. must shuffle the cards and to be cut by winning Lady before dealing".

Subs. Re Kenneth Allen. Treasurer reported that he had paid 1/6 off areas of 3/- due for summer season.

Draught Tour.t. Secretary reported that W. Webb was the winner with 14 points & S Markham runner up with 10 points.

The Rector handed to Secty 3/- for purchase of prizes, viz 2/- & 1/- respectively.

A Committee meeting was held in the Schoolroom on Monday 1st Dec.

Present. The Rector, Messrs Elliott, Markham, G Webb, Bosworth, Treasurer & Secretary.

The meeting was opened and closed with prayer.

Finance. Treasurer reported balance in hand £5. 0. 4d.

W.D. & D. Secretary reported that a credit balance of 15/2½d was realised upon W.D. & Dance held on 28 November.

Decided to have a W.D. & D. on 19th December & nominated The Rector & W Lunn as M.Cs.

Agreed to handicap Gentlemen playing as Lady by 6 points.

Tournament. Decided to have a Domino Tourt. & members to pay one penny.

Treasurer. Mr S. Gascoyne tendered his resignation as Treasurer & handed over "cash in hand" £5. 0. 4d.

It was agreed that this sum should be placed in the Post Office Savings Bank. The Rector & Mr J Elliott acting as joint Trustees on behalf of the Club.
A Vote of Thanks was passed to Mr Gascoyne for his valued services and suitably acknowledged.
