A Committee meeting was held in the schoolroom on May 18th

The meeting was opened and closed with prayer.
Present. The Rector (presiding), Messrs. Gascoyne, G Webb, Treasurer & Secretary.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read & confirmed.

The secretary handed to Treasurer the sum of £1. 12. 1d profit from W.D. & Dance on 15 May.

Treasurer reported cash in hand £3. 16. 4d.

Proposed and agreed that a Prize be given (value 5/-) for W Drive arranged by members of the Mothers' Union.

Oct 6 1925

A General meeting was held in the schoolroom of Tuesday 6 Oct.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read & confirmed.

Cash in hand about £5. 0. 0d., & a Balance sheet to be prepared and submitted to the next Committee Meeting to be held on Monday Oct 12.

The election of officers and committee for ensuing year was carried out & the Rector was approved President. Mr Lunn Secretary & Messrs Elliott, Markham, Gascoyne, Morton, Bosworth, G & W Webb & W Allen were elected for the Committee.

It was agreed that the President hold the funds of the Club, except that required for working expenses & the Hon. Secty to collect subscriptions.

The secretary reported that he was not able to carry on the duties of preparing & clearing up on club nights and it was decided for him to see Mrs Allen & obtain from her what charge she would require, and report at Com.meeting on 12 inst.

Decided that Committee meetings be held fortnightly as from Oct 12.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read & confirmed.

Secretary reported that he had spoken to Mrs Allen re cleaning & preparation of room. She would not undertake the work of Cleaning & Lighting of the Lamps, nor making up the Fire each night, but would only undertake the clearing up & sweeping of floor in addition to her school work for which she required 1/- per week & one penny per fire for wood provided.
It was agreed to acccept these arrangements & in addition Secty (when available) would arrange for Lamps & fire.
It was agreed that the following articles should be purchased:
Material for 6 tea cloths
2 Teapots 3/6
Set jugs 3/-
6 Lamp Glasses (reserve) 4/7
Lamp wick
Cups, Saucers (5/3d), Plates & Glasses to be made up to 3 doz, playing cards 6 packs.
Cash in Hand £5. 1. 0d per Mr P Morton (late Treasurer)
Payments made for Coal & Oil: 15s 6d
£1 handed to Secty for petty cash purposes.
Balance of £3. 5. 6d handed over to Rector.
Secretary was asked to obtain a quotation from the N.I. for the Blind relative to Posters for Clubs' W.Drives etc.

Agreed to have a W.D. & Dance on Nov 13. M.C. Mr Lunn.

Finance, per Rector £3. 5. 6d.

Subscriptions to Date 10/6d

A discussion on the provision of a Hut or a Wireless set but nothing of a definite nature was decided at present.

A Committee meeting was held in the Schoolroom on 23 November.

The meeting was opened & closed with prayer.

Present. The Rector (presiding), Messrs Gascoyne, Morton, Markham, Bosworth, G & W Webb, W Allen & Secty.

Minutes of the previous meeting were read & confirmed.

Secretary presented list of Members showing subscriptions to date.

The Billiard handicap which was arranged unofficially was confirmed by Committee.Prizes of 3/- and 2/- to be given in kind.
For future handicap Messrs Morton, Markham, Bosworth & Lunn were appointed to arrange as handicappers.

Owing to National for the late Queen Al3exandra it is agreed to close the Club on Friday 27 and to open on Thursday evening instead.

Secretary reported the complete failure of W.D. & Dance on Nov 20 owing to lack of numbers. Balance sheet to be presented at next Committee meeting.

A Committee meeting was held in the Schoolroom on 7 Dec

Present. Rector (presiding), Messrs Gascoyne, Morton, Bosworth, G & W Webb & Secretary.

The meeting was opened & closed with prayer.

Minutes of previous meeting were read & confirmed.

Rector proposed that the Parish Party take place on Dec 31. The date was confirmed & agreed that the Club's Finance be used to defray expenses. Mrs Bosworth was to be asked to superintend all the refreshments, with the held[p] of G.F.S.

Decided to leave arrangements for next W.D. & D. to Committee Meeting on 21 Dec.

A Committee meeting was held in the Schoolroom on 21 December.

The meeting was opened & closed with prayer.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read & confirmed.

Reported that Mrs Bosworth was agreeable to superintend the supply of refreshments for Parish Party & Mrs Morton & Gascoyne would assist.

Vote of thanks to Rev Beasley was given for prize of Billiard Tournament.

It was agreed for the Club to be open on Thursday Dec 24 in lieu of Wednesday owing to School Entertainment & to be opened as usual on Saturday Dec 26.

Whist Drive & Dance postponed indefinitely.

Agreed to have Domino & Billiard Tournaments to commence on Monday 28 Dec on the system of playing each member.

A Committee meeting was held in the Schoolroom on 4 January 1926
The meeting was opened and closed with prayer.

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed.
As the schoolroom would be cleaned on Friday, Jany 8th it was agreed to close the Club on Friday & Saturday evenings & that it would be open on Tuesday Jany 5 in lieu.

Proposed by W Bosworth and agreed that a Whist Drive & Social be held on Friday Jany 15th. Charges for admission to be 1/- for Whist Drive and include Social and sixpence for Social only. Mr Bosworth M.C. Agreed that Mr Wilmin be asked to play the piano.

Secretary produced a temporary balance sheet showing Club's financial position at date, viz: cash in hand per Rector: £2. 0. 6 per Secretary 3s 4½d. Outstanding a/cs Coal 10/6. Printing Posters 7/-. Mrs Allen for cleaning 10/-.

The Rector handed 10/- to W Allen to give to his mother in settlement of her a/c against the Club.

A Committee meeting was held in the School on January 18th.

The Meeting was opened and closed with prayer.

Present. The Rector (presiding), S. Gascoyne, W Bosworth, P Morton, S Markham, G & W Webb .

Minutes. The Minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and confirmed.

Secretary. The Rector read a letter from Mr Lunn resigning his office as secretary of the Club. The resignation was accepted.

It was proposed by Mr S Gascoyne & seconded by Mr P Morton that Mr T Seymour be asked to undertake the duties of secretary.

Coal. It was resolved that the Rector be asked to make arrangements with the Northampton Education Committee as to the use of the coal supplied to the day school for Club purposes.

Lamps, etc. It was resolved that the sum of Two shillings per week be paid Mrs Allen to cover cleaning, lighting fires also for cleaning and lighting lamps.

Billiard Tournament. The Rector promised to see Mr Lunn about the last billiard tournament.

Inventory of goods belonging to Club. It was resolved that Messrs Gascoyne and Morton make an inventory of goods in the cupboard belonging to the club.

Whist Drive & Dance. It was decided that the postponed W D & D be held on Friday January 29th. Charges for admission to be 1/- for drive & social. 6d for social only. The drive to consist of 20 hands without an interval. M.C's Messrs. W Bosworth & S Gascoyne.

Feb 1st. Meeting of Committee.

A Committee Meeting was held in the School on Monday, Feb 1st 1926.
Present. Messrs Gascoyne, Morton, Bosworth, W. Allen, and the Secretary.
In the unavoidable absence of the Rector, Mr S Gascoyne presided.

Minutes. The Minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and confirmed.
Vote of Thanks. It was resolved that a letter of thanks be sent to the Rev R N Beasley for donation towards W D & D and also for gift of milk.

It was also resolved that Messrs Gascoyne, Morton & Bosworth be thanked for making an inventory of the Club property.

Whist Drive & dance. The balance sheet of the W D & D showed a profit balance of £2. 19. 4.
