| Meeting of Committee |
| A Committee meeting was held in the School on Monday March 1st. |
|
| The Meeting was opened and closed with prayer. |
| Present. Rev J Thompson. Messrs Bosworth, Morton, Webb and the Secretary. |
|
| Minutes. The Minutes of the preceding meeting were read and confirmed. |
|
Billiard Tournament. The President offered 4 prizes (2 for each village) for a Billiard tournament open to all members whose subscriptions are paid up to the end of January.
The tournament to be finished by March 31st and to commence on the 8th March. |

Handicappers. Stanley Markham, Geo Webb, Wm Bosworth & Percy Morton.

| Meeting of committee |
| A Committee meeting was held in the school on Monday March 15 1926 |
|
| Present. The Rector (president), Messrs Bosworth, Allen, Webb, Gascoyne, Morton & the secretary. |
|
| The Meeting was opened and closed with prayer. |
|
| Minutes. The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read & Confirmed. |
|
| Whist Drive & Dance. It was resolved that a WD & D be held on Friday April 9th. The drive to consist of 20 hands without an interval. M.C's. Messrs Bosworth & W Allen. |
|
| Prizes. That there be 2 ladies prizes and 3 gentlemens owing to the fact that many gents have heretofore been compelled to play as ladies. Also that Mrs Bosworth be asked to kindly purchase the ladies' prizes & Mr Morton those for the gentlemen. |
|
| Source & playing cards. That Mr W Allen was deputed to examine the packs of cards and also to see if there were enough Drive Cards, also that Mr Morton be asked to purchase 6 more packs of playing cards. |
|
| Refreshments. Mr Bosworth kindly promised to purchase the refreshments. |
|
| Pianist. That Mr Wilmin be pianist for the dance. It was resolved that the secretary write to Mr Wilmin for particulars re "Jazz Band". |

| April 12th Meeting of Committee |
|
| The Rector presided was held in the School. |
| Present. The Rector. Messrs. Morton, Bosworth, Allen & Webb. |
| The accounts for the whist drive held on the 9th were presented and passed. |
| It was resolved that a WD & D be held on Friday Ap 30th to close the session and that Mr Wilmin be asked to bring his Jazz Band. |
| Thanks to the donors of cash & refreshments were passed. |

| April 12th 1926. General Meeting |
| Cricket Club |
| The Meeting was held in the School when a large number was present. |
| The Rector presided and the meeting was opened and closed with prayer. |
| Minutes of preceeding meeting were read and confirmed. |
| Ground. Mr Warren reported that Mr Jas Fountaine was willing to allow either of two fields to be used for playing. |
| Secretary for Cricket. It was resolved that Mr Warren be appointed secretary of the Club. |
| Captain. It was resolved that Mr Stanley Markham be Capt and that Mr W Bosworth be vice captain. |
| Committee. It was decided that the Captain & vice captain with the secretary be a nucleus and have power to add to their number up to seven members. |
| Subscription. The subscription for the season was fixed at 2/6 for adult members but boys from 14 to 17 be admitted at 1/6. Subscriptions to be paid on or before the 3rd day of May. |
| Thanks for Field. It was resolved that the Secretary write to Mr Fountaine thanking him for the use of the field. |

| A General Meeting of Committee was held on October 15 1926. |
| Minutes. The Minutes of the Previous Meeting were read and confirmed. |
|
| Finance. Mr Seymour made a financial statement showing a balance of £1. 10. 0. The accounts were passed. |
|
| Officers. Proposed and carried that the following be elected as officers of the Club for the session 1926-7 |

| Committee. Messrs Edwards, Bosworth, W. Allen, G. Webb, S Markham. |
|
| Subscriptions. Proposed & carried that the subscriptions be as heretofore and if not paid by the end of the month defaulting members be fined 3d. |

| Coal. Mr Seymour stated that Messrs Wiggins were sending coal to Mr Allen, and a statement of coal they sent to the Secretary. |
|
| Vote of thanks. A very hearty vote of thanks was passed, and regret expressed to, the retiring Secretary & Treasurer Mr Seymour for his unselfish labours on behalf of the Club. |
|
| W D & Dance. Proposed & carried that a Whist Drive & Dance be held on Friday October 29th. |

| W D & Dance. The accounts of the Whist Drive and Dance held on Oct '29 were passed showing a profit of £2. 8. 9., which was handed to the Treasurer. |

| W D & Dance. When the committee met Mrs Beasley ----------- it was reported that a sum of £2. 1. 11 had been used for the Mansfield Hospital. The accounts were presented and passed. Mrs Beasley expressed her thanks to the Committee for their splendid work. |

| Subscriptions. The monthly subscriptions for Nov & Dec were received and handed to the Treasurer. |

| W D & Dance. Proposed and carried that the next W D & Dance be held on 21st Jan., |
| Band. After an interesting discussion as to whether it was better to have the jazz or not,. on the whole the Committee were of opinion that taking into consideration the attracting of people and the future. It is better to have the Jazz Band. Ppd & carried. |

| Billiard Handicap. Proposed & carried that another Billiard Handicap be held. First four to play off S Final & Final after an American Tournament. |

| A Committee Meeting was held in Grafton Regis School on 25 Feb 1927 |
| Present. W Allen, R W Beasley, W Bosworth, C Edwards, P Morton. |
|
| Accounts. Treasurer reported a Balance, after all accounts, paid up to date of £3. 1. 6. |
|
| W D & Dance. It was arranged to hold the next W D & Dance on Easter Monday the Secretary to engage the Jazz Band forthwith. Failing Easter Monday on the following Friday. |
|
| Breakages. The Secretary reported accidental breakages - Glass to Roll of Honour - Table - Mr Edwards kindly offered to mend the latter. |
|
| Complaints. Various members of the Committee have received complaints as to Rowdyism at the Last Meeting. The Committee undertook to supervise the Dances in rota. |
|
Billiard Handicap. It was decided to hold another Billiard Handicap. Mr Wells to be non-playing handicapper which he had very kindly offered to as.
Proposed & carried that Mr Wells be co-opted on the Committee. |

| Finance. Treasurer gave a statement of account showing a Balance in hand of £3. 1. 6. Subscriptions for Feb amounting to 13/- were handed in by the Secretary. |

| Committee. Proposed & carried that Mr Wells be co-opted as a member of the Committee. |

| Hospital Letter. Proposed & carried that the Committee grant one of the Clubs Out Patient Letters for the use of Mrs Cook. |
|
| W D & D. The Secretary reported that he had not yet heard from the Jazz Band as to Easter Monday. |

| Hospital Letters. Committee granted Hospital letters to Mrs Holloway, Mrs Rogers Alderton. |
|
| Prizes. Proposed & Carried that Messrs W Bosworth & P Morton get the Gentlemens Prizes for the Easter Monday Whist Drive & Mrs Wells the Ladies. |

| Prizes. Vote of thanks was passed to Mrs Wells for getting Ladies Prizes. |

| Secretary. A very hearty vote of thanks was passed to Mr P Morton for all his hard and unselfish work for the Club during the past season. |
