Commissioners to inquire: What every acre wolbe worth by yere to be leten.
Item: of the verye value of all wooddes groves and underwooddes.
Item: yf the woodys shold be sold felled and destroyed then of what yerely value the groundys where the seid woodys growe wolbe.
Item: what hurte shulde growe to the kynges towyns and milles adjoinyng or to kinges tenaunts yf all the woodys were destroyed.
Item: what wood sales be made by loppyng, croppyng or fellyng downe to the grounde.
Item: what quantitie of grounde maye be emproved within the lordship levyng sufficient comen to the tenaunts.
Item: what nombre of acres the kynges highnes hath within the lordshippes and maners.
Item: what townshippes or personnes clayme to have comen there and with what maner of cattall they shuld use commen there.
Item: whether any person doe encroach uppon the kyng in usyng ther comen.
Item: what new encroachments have been maide.
Item: in what case all and singuler the howses and tenements and other buyldynges in the said lorshippes and manours doo standing concerniyng the reparacions.

James Badyngton 1 messuage with croft adjoining of 1 acre, moiety of pasture called Stokyng of 5 acres, 45 acres arable. Lord does repairs. 44s. p.a. common

The same John Whalley 1 croft with messuage formerly built thereon now in decay, croft adjoining, the land formerly pertaining to the said messuage is inclosed within the lord's pasture. He pays nothing to the lord for the said croft because it is in decay and worth nothing.

Three other copices of underwode with oute the parke now of 8 yeres grouthe, one called Rediche 17 acres, one called Sallowes 15 acres and the thirde called the Wyche 14 acres which maketh in all 46 acres, £46.
The herbage is worth by the yere the dere and woode saved 20s.
The lodge by the said Park is in decay.
The patronage of the church belongeth to the lord worth £10 p.a.
The tenements there be in sore decay.
The lord is charged with all maner of reparacions there except thakyng with straw.
There is one common pasture called Redehay of 50 acres.
There is no woode growyng upon the tenements there to kepe and mayntayne the reparacions of the same.
The tenaunts clayme to have common in a grownd called The Styes in Aldryngton lordship.
The said Edmund Knyghtley claymeth to have to hym and his heres 5 acres of land inclosed within the park of Grafton by the auncestres of the lorde Marques and wrongfully withholden from the said Edmunde.
