In the name of God amen The fiveth daye of Januarie in the yeare of our Lord God One thousand five hundred nynetie and fyve I Emme Dyneley of Haversham in the countie of Bucke widdowe beinge of whole mynde and good remembrance (praysed be god therefore. Doe constitue ordaine and make this my presente last will and Testament in manner and forme followinge (that is to saye) First I commend my sowle to almightie God my maker and redeemer and my Bodie to be buried in the parishe churche yarde of Passenham in the countie of Northt [Northamptonshire] even in the same place where my husband Fowkes lieth I geve and bequeath five shillinges to be distributed shorteth after my decease to and amongst the poore and nedyest houshoulds inh.tinge within the parishe of Passenham aforesaide by the discretion of my Executors hereafter named; Item I geve and bequeath to and amongst the poore and neediest houshoulders of Haversham on the Countie of Bucke five shillinges to be distributed as aforesaide Item I geve and bequeath To Thomas Fowkes my sonne one annuitie for dyvers yeares yet to come which is owinge unto me by one Thomas Turvy as by dyvers obligations thereof made playnetie appeareth if my Executors maye have and receyve the same, and not otherwise, and yf the same Thomas shall happen to dye duringe the contynuance of the said debt or annuitie , Then I will that the childe or children of the saide Thomas shall have and enioye the saide annuitie to be paide and Devided betwene them by the discretion of my Executors uppon ye condition aforesaide; Item I geve and bequeath, to my daughter Catherine Price one annuytie of fowre poundes of Lawfull money of England to be paide yearlie at the feaste of the annunciation of the blessed Virgin St Marie and St Michaell tharhangell by even portions oute of acerteyne debte or Annuitie of fourtenne poundes for divers yeares yet to come, which is owinge unto me by one Jerom Lamborne gent, as by one Recognisance ( as aforesaid which shall be next happen after my decease) taken before the Queenes Majesties Justices of her common pleas at Westminster?; appeareth the First payment thereof to beginne at the seconde halfe yeares daye of payment of the said debt or Annuitie of the fourtenne poundes, by Recognisances as aforesaide which shall next happen after my decease: And yf my sayd daughter shall happen to dye duringe the contynuance of the saide debte or Annuytie of fourtenne poundes as aforesaide, that then I will that the childe or Children of the said Catherin, shall have and enioye the saide annuitie of Foure poundes to be paide and devided by the discretion of my Executors uppon the condition aforesaide; Item I geve and bequeath unto my said daughter Catherin my best matteres, a paire of broode blankettes, my Tappestrie Coverlett with a pooke therunto to line the same, a payre of Fustian pillowes, a paire of pillowe beares a fine sheete a pewter platter, one pewter disshe, one pewte sawcer which remaine in the custodie of Mr William Clarke, and also two smockes, two Aporns and a pettie caote: Item I Geve and bequeath to my Sonne Thomas Fowkes his wife one smocke on apron and a course Table cloth Item I bequeath to my daughter Johanne Noble the sum of fyve poundes uppon condition that my Executors maye be trulie paide my saide Annuities and uppon condition that the said Johanne togeither with her husband, before the payment of the said Legacie of Fyve pounds shal by theire sufficient deede written, sealed, and delyvered release unto my Executors all mannor of accons and demandes whatsoever; Item I geve to every of my sonne Holmes his Children five shillinges; Item I geve to John Anglire my kynsman ten poundes of Lawfull money of England out of a certeyne debte of Twentie poundes Thirteene shillinges foure pence to which is owinge unto me by Jerome Lumburne, and shalbe due to be paide at the feast of the annunciation of the blessed virgin St Marie which shalbe in the yeare of our Lord God one thousand sixe hundred and two as by one obligation thereof made playnelie appeareth yf my Executors shall and maye receyve the same; Item I bequeath to my sonne in Lawe William Cartwryght fortie shillinges to be delivered in convenient tyme by the discretion of my Executors; All which Legacies, I will to be trulie paide yf and so longe as my Executrs shall and maye have receave and enioye my debtes and my Last yeares annuitie due unto me by Recognizances as aforesaide uppon condition that ye sayde Jerom doe and shall well and trulie paye or cause to be paide to me my Executors or administrators the saide summe of twentie pounds Thriteene shillinges foure pence at the saide daye specified in the condition of the said obligation; And upon condition that the saide Jerome his heires, executors or administrators shall well and trulie paie or cause to be paide unto me or my Executors the saide Annuitie of foure tenne poundes due to Recognizance as aforesaide at the nowe dwelling howse of my sonne in Lawe Robert Revys scituate in Haversham afore said yearlie according to the condition of the said Recognizance; The resydue of all my goodes and chattells unbequeathed moveable and unmoveable (my debtes paide and funeral expences discharged, I geve and bequeath to my sonne in Lawe Robert Revys and to my daughter Issabell Revys his wife, whom I doe ordaine and make my full and Lawfull Executors; of this my present Last will and Testament; And I utterly revooke and annull all and every other former Testamentes Willes Legacies bequestes and Executor or Executors, by me in any wise before this tyme, made, named, willed and bequeathed.
