In the Name of God Amen of Haversham servant to Mr. Thomas Travell of Haversham being sick in Bodie but in perfect memory I prayse God doe make and ordaine this to be my Last will and Testament in manner and forme following: First I give and bequeath my soule to Almighty God who did Create me and to Jesus Christ which dyed for me by whose merits and mercies I stedfastlie beleeve  shalbe saved and by noe other meanes whatsoever And for those worldly Goods which God hath bin pleased to spare me doe bestowe in manner following First I give to my Sister Dorothy Parker of Hanslopp Twentie poundes Item I give to my Brother William Harman of Hanslappe Five poundes. Item I give to my Sister Harman of Castlethroppe Thirtie shillinges which Thirtie Shillinges is in her handes already And among her Five Children Five pounds to be equallie divided among them. Item I give to my Kinswoman Nan Abthorpe Five poundes, Five poundes. Item I give to my Cozen John Harman of Hanslapp Three poundes. Item I give to ye poore of Haversham Twentie shillings. I doe make and ordaine my Loving Friends my master Thomas Travell of Haversham and William Nicholls of Litle Linford my sole and full Executors in trust that when my Debtes being payd and Funerall Charges defrayed to se what shall remayne over and above to be bestowed among my Friends above mentioned. And these my guifts and Legacies to be discharged within Six moneth after my decease, And for their paines herein doe give to either of them Tenne shillings a peece for their paines. And doe revoke All former wills whatsoever. And In witness of the same have hereunto put my Hand and seale. This Twentie Sixth Day of August One Thousand Six Hundred Fiftie Seaven.
