In the name of god amen the xxj^th day of Se[ptember] anno Edwardi vj^th vto I Richarde Ilshawe of Haversham [in the] Countie of Bucks ye[o]man sike in body but of good and missing Remembrance do ordeyne and make this my last [will and ] testament in manner and forme followinge that missing ffirste I bequethe my soule to allmightie god and missing body to be buried in Christen mens burial Item to my brother John ij kene to my brother Mathew my best oxen and one cowe and to my brother missing ij oxen at my wiffes delyverance Item I bequeath to missing Thomas Wodhille x^ls and my cote which my master missing this yere and to Elizabeth Wodhill his sister x^ls missing to hellen Spenser my kynswoman xl^s Item I gyve to missing leake vj^l xiij^s iiij^d further I gyve and bequeath [every] one of my servants man and women one ewe and a lambe at my Wiffes delyverance Item I gyve unto every one of my godchildren men and women one lambe at my Wiffes descression Item I gyve to hue wilsone my master Servant iij^s iiij^d Item I gyve unto the Comen boxe of Haversham for the poore xx^s more over I bequeath unto the poorest howsholders of haversham at my Wiffes discretion xx^s Item I gyve unto my mother xl^s towarde a cowe The rest of my goods unbequethed I gyve and bequethe unto my Wiffe Joyce whome I do make and ordeyine my hole executrix of this my last will and testament Written and redde the day and yere before mentioned in the presence of Richard Talbot the parson of Haversham aforsayde William bechington John Ashbie and John Warren husbandmen missing with witness to the premissis
