In the name of God Amen I Thomas Line the Elder of Haversham in the County of Bucks Yeoman being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding (praised be god for the same) do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say) first I give and Bequeath unto my son in law John Holloway of Ravenstone in the said County of Bucks and Mary his wife the sum of one guinea each and also unto their five Children I give the like sum of one Guinea each Next I give and bequeath unto my youngest son Daniel Line of Hardmead in the said County of Bucks Yeoman the sum of Five pounds Next I give and bequeath unto my kinswoman Mary Hawkins the sum of one Guinea all which Said Legacies above by me bequeathed I will and direct the same to be paid by my executor hereinafter named within six months next after my decease Next I give and devise unto my eldest son Thomas Line of Haversham aforesaid all and singular my Messuages closes Lands tenements Hereditaments and Premisses whatsoever and wheresoever in the Kingdom of Great Britain or elsewhere to hold the same unto my said son Thomas Line and to his heirs and assigns for ever And Lastly as to all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature sort or kind soever I give and bequeath the same unto my said son Thomas Line and to his heirs executors and administrators He paying therewith and thereout all my just debts and funeral expences And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said son Thomas Line full and sole executor of this my last Will and testament hereby revoking disannulling and making void all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made and do declare this only to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Thomas Line the elder the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and seal this eighteenth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty eight. | Proved the 5th day of October 1761 before the Rt. Worshipful John Bettesworth Doctor of Laws Commissary and Official in and thro the whole Archdeaconry of Bucks lawfully constituted by the oath of the Thomas Line natural and lawful son and executor to whom Administration was committed he being first sworn duly to Administer |
