In the Name of God Amen I Danyell Rogers Rector of Haversham in the County of Bucks Doe make my last Will and Testament as followeth First I bequeath my Soule into the hands of my God that Created it By his power, and Redeemed it by his blood, and my Body to bee buried at (the Discretion of my Executor, As for my Worldly goods which God out of his infinite mercy) hath bestowed upon mee I Doe Dispose of them as followeth Imprimis Whereas I have One Farme Scituate in Milton in the County of Northampton and in the occupation of John Bland, and Arthur Mobs Consisting of Fower yard Lands Two of which yard Land Tithe to the Parson of Collintre [Collingtree], and the other Two unto the Parson of Milton, one of which yard Landis called by the Name of Normans yard Land, and other yard land lyes by Three Acres in a field togeather for the most part I Danyell Rogers doe give these Two yard land, that Tithe to the Parson of Milton, one called by the name of Normans yard land and the other lyeing by Three acres in a field for the most part in the occupation of John Bland and Arthur Mobs unto my beloved Daughter Martha Rogers and the heires of her Body lawfully begotten and for want of such heires unto my Son John Rogers and his heires forever Item I give to her and the heires of her Body lawfully begotten One Croft called by the name of North Croft lyeing on the North side of Milton next Towcester high way and in the occupation of John Bland aforesaid As alsoe One Close called by the name of Johnsons Close and one other Close called by the name of Ankors Close neere unto the Church of Milton, and one Comon feild partly Arable and partly greene sward called by the name of Backhouse land and one parcell of land that is arable and called by the name of the Milgreene All in the occupation of John Bland aforesaid, All which I give unto my Daughter Martha Rogers and the heires of her Body lawfully begotten, and for want of such heires to my Son John and his heires forever Item I give to my Daughter Martha Rogers and the heirs of her body lawfully begotten All the Meadow and Commons belonging to the aforesaid Two yard Lands, already Devised Item I give to her and the heries of her Body lawfully begotten, One Mansion or Farme house in the occupation of John Bland to which all the premises Doe belong togeather, with the Orchard Pitle [Pightle] Barnes and Stables and Outhouses Item I give to her and the heires of her Body lawfully begotten One Cottage in the occupation of Arthur Mobs with the Orchard Barnes Stables, and all the appurtenances payeing to her the rent that hee hath paid unto mee Item my Will is That my Tennant John Bland duering his Lease to pay to my Daughter Martha Thirteene pounds Tenn shillings, the first Rent day after my Death and Thirteene pounds ten shillings the second Rent day after my Death and soe forward And whereas there are two other yard Lands in the occupation of John Bland aforesaid which pay Tithe to the Parson of Collintree I doe give the said Two yard land to my Son John Rogers and his heires upon the Condition following First that hee pay to my beloved Daughter Margaret Rogers The summe of Tenn pounds And dureing the time of her Virginity to wit Five pounds within six monthes after my departure and Five pounds within one halfe yeare after the expiration of those six monthes and soe from six monthes to Six dureing the time of Virginity The second Condition is That my Son John Doe [do] pay to my Daughter Margaret the summe of One hundred pounds of lawfull money of England At the Birth of her first Child or within one yeare after, and One hundred pounds more at the Birth of her second Child or within one whole yeare after and if hee fails to performe the substance of these Conditions according to my true meaning expressed Then I give the said Two yard with the meadow thereunto belonging and the Comons belonging to the said Two yard Land to my Daughter Margarett and theheires of her Body lawfully begotten Item Whereas I have two Bonds S…. the East India Company … and bearing Date The Twelfth Day of May One Thousand Six hundred Seaventy and Six I give the said Bond unto my Daughter Margarett and her heires And whereas I have one other Bond from the East India Company, bearing date (date missing) I give the said Bond to my Daughter Margarett and her heires, These Two bonds being all the Bonds that I have from the East India Company and both which I give to Daughter and her heires Item I Doe Constitute my Sonne John to be Executor of this my last Will and Testament of mine, As to my Personall Estate I give my Son John my Study of Books, one Furnace, One Clock and my Watch, To my Daughter Martha one great Silver Tankard, to my Daughter Margarett all the rest of my Plate and all the rest of my goods and Chattells except moneys I give equally to bee devided between my Children John Margaret and Martha: This is my last Will I Doe sett my hand and Seale unto this 27 day of
