In the name of god Amen the xxiiijth daye of maye in the yere of our lorde god on thousande five hundred fower skore and sixe, I Guye Salesburye of Haversham in the countye of Buck gent, beinge somethinge syke in body, but thanks be unto almightie god of sounde and perfect memory do ordeyne and make this my laste will and testament in maner and forme followinge ffirste I bequeth my sole to the mercy of god my maker and redeemer and my body to be buryed within the Ile of the church of haversham aforesaid where my father and others of my anncestors have byn usuallie buryed Item I geve and bequethe to every of my householde Servants be the men and mayde Servants whiche nowe do dwell with me twentye shillings a pece, to be payed to them by my executrix within one moneth next after my decease and departure oute of this mortall lyfe Item I bequeth to Anthony ffeilde which lately was my Servant vj^s viij^d Item I bequeth to Anthony Smyth my tenant in haversham xx^s Item to Robert Gryffith of Shenley xl^s theis three laste resited somes to be payed lykewoyse within one moneth after my decease And also I bequeth to Issabell Crowche my late Servant x^s to be payed as aforesaide Item I bequeth to every of my god children bothe men and women to be payde to them within one yere after my decease xx^s a pece Item bequeth to mother Mathewe of hansloppe x^s and to her daughter Elizabeth x^s to be payed within one yere nexte after my decease Item I bequeth to the poore people of the towne of hanslopp three poundes, to be bestowed upon them by my executrix within one yere next after my decease, Lykewyse I geve and bequeth other three pounds currant money to be bestowed by my executrix upon the poore people inhabitinge within the towne of haversham aforesayde Item I geve and bequeth to within one moneth next after my decease Item I geve and bequeth to Elizabeth ffoster the daughter of John ffoster of hansloppe gent the some of xxli currant Englysshe money to be payed within one whole yere nexte after my decease Item I bequeth to John Sturgys Joyes yorke Edward hawkyns and henry Whishston my late Servants to every of them vj^s viij^d a pece to be payed within one whole yere next after my decease Item I geve towards the repayringe of the churche of haversham xl^s to be payed within a yere next after my deceasse Item I do ordeyne and make my lovinge brothers in lawe George Pygott gent and John ffoster gent supervisors of this my laste will and testament and geve unto eyther of them xx^s a pece for their paynes And I do ordeyne constitute and appoint Issabell my Wyffe my sole and onely executrix of this my last will and testamente and geve unto her all my goods unbequethed In Witnesse whereof I have subscribed my name and put my seale the daye and yere firste above Wrytten
