In ye name of God; amen. I Margaret Smyth of haversham in ye County of Bucks Widdowe do make this as follweth my Last Will and testament. first, my soule I commit into ye hands of God almighty, trusting to be saved, only by ye death and passion of Christ my saviour: my body I commit to ye earth to be buryed in ye parish church of haversham aforesaid, for which cause, I geve to ye said church vjs 8d Item I geve to ye poore of haversham xxs to ye poore of Chichely xxs, Item to my godsonne Jhon Smyth xxs. Lawrence Wythers xs. Thomas Chibnole xs Susan Gothered xs. Item to Jane Atterbury iijs 4d, to my sonne Maunsels servants vjs 8d to William and John herne xs Item I geve to Samuell Glover a duble duble Ducket, to my sonne Raph Smyth xls, to Samuell Maunsell xls, to Jhon Maunsell xls, to Raphe Maunsell xls, to Tobiah Maunsell xls and a Duble soveraigne. Item I geve to my deare freind Mrs Nurse a kirchefe and an halfe angell, to my daughter Chibnoll a cherchefe, to my daughter Withers a cherchefe. Item to my sonne William Walker I geve xijl, and to my sonne Banard Walker xijl Also to my dawghter Maunsell I geve xijl, and to her husband Jhon Maunsell iiijl Item I geve to my dawghter Marthia Smyth xxl, and my bed furnished, and my gold ring. Item I geve to Robert Walker my sonne in Lawe xxs. All ye rest of my goods what soever, I geve to my ij dawghters Dorothey Maunsell and Martha Smyth, equally to be devided betwixt them, and do make ye said Dorothey and Martha ye executors of this my last will and testament, requiring them to see all theis my legacies truly discharged, and my funeral cumely perfomed, theis being Witnesses to this my said Will, Jhon Maunsell, Agnes Spenser, Anne Atterbury, Jone Razey, Jhon Bird the xxvth day of November 1587
