In the Name of God amen: this tenth day of November in the yeare of our Lord God one thousand six hundred seaventy and one, Thomas Marriott of Little Linford in the Countie of Bucks yeoman being weake in body but of Good and perfect Memory and Remembrance praised be Almighty God for the Same, Doe therefore here Make and ordaine my Last will and testament in Manner and fforme following that is to say ffirst and principally I Commit my Soule Into the hands off Almighty God who Gave itt me hopeing ffor the fforgiveness of All my sins ffor the Sake and Meritts of Jesus Christ my Lord and saviour and ffor my body I Committ to the Earth ffrom whence itt was Taken to be decently burried in the parish Church yard off Great linford in the Countie afforesaid, and ffor that Little off this worlds Substance which it hath pleased God to bless mee with I dispose of As ffolloweth Imprimis I give and bequeath unto, William Marriott off Bradwell sonn of my brother William Marriott deceased the some of ffive pounds to be paid him by my Executors: within halfe a yeare affter my decease: Item I give and bequeath unto Cousan Elizabeth Marratt sister of William Marratt aforesaid the Just Some of ffiftie shillings to be paid her by my exe within halfe a yeare after my decease Item I give and bequeath unto my brother in law Edward Jackson of Milton in Bedfordsheare the some of ffifty Shillings and to his three children fiftie Shillings apiece to be paid as afforesaid, Item I give and bequeath unto my Sister Alce Jackson wife of my brother Edward afforesaid the some of ffive pounds to be paid her by my Executor as afforesaid with on bedstead standing and being in the great pallour of my house with the ffeather bed and all the beding thereto belonging with on pare of fflexon sheetts with the Counterpane and curtaine and vallins and blankitts there to belonging Item I give and bequeath unto my Cousan Judieth Sammon the Some of ffiftie shillings to be paid her as afforesaid, Item I give and bequeath unto my Cousan Thomas Marriott son of my brother John Marriott deceased the Some of tenn pounds to bee paid him as afforesaid. Item I give and bequeath unto my Cousan Sarah Blee: and to my Cousan Whinifruitt Blee the Some of three pounds a peece to be paid forthwith after my decease ffor the placing out the Said Children: and request my trusty and welbe loved ffriends and neighbours John Kent and John Ruffhead both of Great linford to be overseers for those two Children Sarah and Winifruitt and that they see to the placing them out with some honest and Carefull people and I give them twentie shillings betwixt them for these care over the Said children and further my Will And minde is that they be not placed with there brother William Blee: Item I give and bequeath unto my Cousan Jossias Campyon the Some off ffive pounds to be paid by my Executor with in halfe ayeare after my decease: Item I give and bequeath unto all my Godchildren twelve pence apiece to be paid them by my Executor as aforesaid. ffurther I give and bequeath all the Rest and Residue of my Goods and Chattells unbequeathed to my brother Robert Marriott in Edgware off Midellsex Except my wiffes wareing Apparrill which I will both Linen and wollon be all bestowed upon my Cousan Sarah and Winifruitt Blee, I make and ordaine my brother Robert Marriott afforesaid Sole Executor of this my Last will and testament Revoaking all other wills and testaments fformerly by me made In witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the day and yeare ffirst above written
