In 1900 there was a row of three cottages here, since demolished.

The building on the 1900 map at the left (northern) end of the row may have been a barn.  People living in 2009 do not remember a house in this location.

This is believed to have been taken about 1950 and shows the old cottages not long before they were pulled down.
