7 High Street

Building to left   building to right

No.7 High Street was a chemists shop in 1900 and in the early part of the 20th Century.

The building was converted to a single dwelling around 1960.

Number 7 is on the left of the photograph, largely hidden behind a tree. Note the continuous roof line with the neighbouring houses, and the chimney to number 7 on the edge of the picture.

After conversion to combine 7 and 9 High Street. The garage door occupies what was the front of No.7.

Part of the land formerly occupied by No.7 was sold to the neighbour on the left (No.5) who built a garage there (see below).

In April 2006.

The garage shown above has since been converted into a further room.
