Explore your local history and heritage. Free tours, events and activities for all the family.

11th – 20th September 2020

This year Heritage Open Days will run over 10 consecutive days. All events are free for the public to attend.

The theme will be Hidden Nature, celebrating our extraordinary natural heritage, from centuries-old trees to farmer’s fields steeped in history.

June update

We’ve now had confirmation from national Heritage Open Days that the festival will run, as originally planned, from the 11th to the 20th September.

With this good news in mind we’ve extended the deadline for inclusion into the MK  print brochure to the 3rd July to make sure any organisations who would like to be involved can still be included.

We will be producing the brochure in printed format but also as an online document. Events will be listed on the national HODs website from August, in the events section of Living Archive Milton Keynes’s website and on social media.
