Organised by: The Western Front Association (Milton Keynes Branch)

An exhibition of local heritage and beyond relating to the Great War 1914-18 and an opportunity to put questions to Milton Keynes Branch members who will also be happy to receive any related memorabilia to augment the collection.

There will be details of the monthly talks by guest speakers and the chance to get tips on tracing your WW1 ancestors.

Interested in the Great War 1914-1918? The Western Front Association was formed in 1980 to educate the public and maintain interest in the period 1914-1918, with particular reference to the Western Front, to perpetuate the memory, courage and comradeship of those on all sides and on all Fronts: on land, at sea, in the air and on the Home Front, who served their countries in France and Flanders and their own countries during the Great War. It does not seek to glorify war and is entirely non-political and is not commercially motivated.

The Milton Keynes Branch holds meetings on the third Friday of the month with guest speakers on a variety of topics related to World War 1. You do not need to be a member of the WFA to come to our meetings and we welcome everyone with an interest in the Great War to attend. Once a year, we hold a ‘show and tell’ evening where attendees can bring in and talk about family heirlooms, military memorabilia and details of ancestors involved in the Great War.

No booking necessary.
