HISTORICAL SOCIETY BACKGROUND

The society was formed in 2004. A small committee got together to agree the aims of the society

and how it should be run. The first committee meeting was in February 2004 and the first

members meeting held in May 2004. The Society is a member of Milton Keynes Heritage

Association.
AIMS OF THE SOCIETY

To develop a historical record of The Crawleys through the ages

To protect and archive the existing village records

To encourage the study of village history in our young people

To record the memories of the older village residents
