The Northampton Mercury July 23rd 1825 Notice to Debtors and Creditors. WHEREAS STEPHEN CLARKE, late of OLD STRATFORD, in the County of Northampton, Victualler, hath this Day made an Assignment of all his personal Estate and Effects unto Mr. William Wilkinson, of Stony Stratford, in the County of Buckingham, Maltster; and Mr. William Timbs, of Old Stratford, Butcher; in Trust for the equal Benefit of his Creditors: and that such Assignment lies at my Office, and those Creditors who do not execute the same within one Month from the Date hereof, will be excluded all Benefit arising from the Effects of the said Stephen Clarke.

ALL Persons who stand indebted to the Estate of the said WILLIAM TIMBS, deceased, are desired immediately to pay their respective debts to Mr. William Green, of Stony Stratford, in the county of Buckingham, Butcher; or Martha Timbs, of Old Stratford, aforesaid, Widow, Executor, and Executrix of the said William Timbs, deceased.
And all persons who have any claim or demand on the Estate and Effects of the said William Timbs, deceased, are requested immediately to send in an account thereof to the said William Green and Martha Timbs, in order that the same may be examined and discharged. The Northampton Mercury March 4th 1843 NOTICE is hereby given, That JOHN JELLEY, the Younger, of Old Stratford, in the county of Northampton, Schoolmaster, hath by Indenture dated the 21st day of February, 1843, Assigned and set over unto William Duckett, of the town of Northampton, Shoemanufacturer ; and John Jelley the Elder, of Cosgrove, in the same county, Victualler, all the Personal Estate and Effects of him, the said John Jelley, the younger, upon trust for the equal benefit of all the Creditors of the said John Jelley, the younger, who shall within two months from the date thereof execute the same, and that the said Indenture was duly executed by the said John Jelley, the younger, William Duckett, and John Jelley, the elder, respectively on the 21st day of February, 1843, and their execution thereof is respectively attested by Henry Becke, of the town of Northampton, Solicitor, and George Turner, Clerk to the said Henry Becke. The Northampton Mercury April 4th 1846 NOTICE is hereby given, That by Indenture, dated 26th March last, JOHN HART, of Old Stratford, in the County of Northampton, Grocer, Baker, and Shopkeeper, has assigned all his Stock-in-Trade, and personal Estate and Effects whatsoever unto Thomas Bent, of Stony Stratford, in the County of Buckingham, Grocer, and Edward Johnson, of the same place, Miller, upon trust, for the equal benefit of the Creditors of the said John Hart, who shall execute or assent to the said Indenture within three calendar months from the date thereof; and that the said Indenture is now deposited with the said Thomas Bent, for execution by such Creditors who shall elect to take the benefit thereof.
The Northampton Mercury August 26th 1854 ESTATE OF RICHARD WAINWRIGHT. NOTICE is hereby given, That by an Indenture bearing date the Twenty-first day of August, 1854, RICHARD WAINWRIGHT, of OLD STRATFORD, in the County of Northampton, Draper, assigned all his personal Estate and Effects, whatsoever and wheresoever as therein is mentioned, unto James Carter Sharp, of Wood-street, Cheapside, in the City of London, Warehouseman, and William Richard Porter, of Stony Stratford, in the County of Buckingham, Draper, in trust for the benefit of themselves, and the rest of the Creditors of the said Richard Wainwright who should execute the same, and that the said Indenture of Assignment was duly executed by the said Richard Wainwright and William Richard Porter respectively, on the day of the date thereof, in the presence of the attested by John Parrott, of Stony Stratford aforesaid, Solicitor, and by the said James Carter Sharp, on this 22nd day of August, in the presence of and attested by Albert Turner, of 68 Aldermanbury, in the City of London, Solicitor, and which said Indenture now lies for execution by the rest of the creditors at the offices of Messrs. Sole, Turner, and Turner. Dated this 22d day of August, 1854
The Northampton Mercury March 3rd 1855 WHEREAS a Petition of BENJAMIN SLATER, of POTTERSPURY, near Stony Stratford, Northamptonshire, Journeyman Miller, my wife Sarah Slater, at the same place and time carrying on a business of a Straw Bonnet Maker, and previously of Old Stratford, Northamptonshire, Journeyman Mille, Baker, Grocer, and Shopkeeper, my wife at the same time and same place carrying on the business of a Straw Bonnet Maker, an Insolvent Debtor, having been filed in the County Court of Northamptonshire, holden at Towcester, in the said county, and an Interim Order for Protection from Process having been given to the said Benjamin Slater, under the provisions of the statutes in that case made and provided, the said Benjamin Slater is hereby required to appear in the said Court, to be holden at Towcester aforesaid, before the Judge of the said Court, on the Fifteenth day of march, 1855, at Twelve o’clock in the noon precisely, for his First Examination touching his Debts, Estate, and Effects, and to be further dealt with according to the provisions of the said statutes. And notice is hereby given, that the choice of Assignees is to take place the time so appointed. |
