POST OFFICE, TOWCESTER, 1841

George Gurney, Post Master. Letters from London, Birmingham and intermediate places arrive every morning (Monday excepted) at four and afternoon at half-past one, and are despatched every morning at nine and night at ten. Letters from Buckingham, Oxford, Brackley and intermediate places arrive every night at half-past nine, and a despatched every morning at five.

To Northampton
The Rising Sun, from Oxford, calls at the White Horse every day at twelve o'clock
To Oxford
The Rising Sun, from Northampton calls at the White Horse every afternoon at three; goes though Buckingham and Bicester.

Carriers

To London by way of Wolverton Railway Station and thence by railway
John Henry Richardson's Fly Waggons, from his warehouse, Park Street, every Tuesday and Friday.
To London by way of Wolverton Railway Station and thence by railway
James Allen from his house, Park Lane every Tuesday afternoon.
To Brackley
Edward Taylor from the White Hart every Wednesday.
To Buckingham, Bicester and Oxford
John Luck from the Old Dolphin every Monday and Friday.
