Well Cottage

Building to left  

The central section of Well Cottage in Meadow Lane is 17th century and was used as the gamekeeper's cottage. The extensions to left and right were added in the 20th century. The building was listed as the Well House and earlier was known as Thistledew.

The building was listed in 1975 with listing particulars as follows.

SP 83 NE MILTON KEYNES MILTON KEYNES VILLAGE 4/71 No.35, The Well House. (formerly listed as Thistledew) II House, C17 extended. Central part timber framed with colourwashed brick infilling, thatched roof, central brick chimney, 2-storeys, 2 upper casements cut up into thatch, 3 modern casements to ground floor. Modern gabled wings each side, colourwashed brick and thatch.
