Lambton Loraine was Rector from 1802 to 1821. He was presented to the living by George Finch, 9th Earl of Winchilsea. He was the son of Sir Charles Loraine who was a Baronet and High Sheriff of Northumberland in 1774. He was also Rector of Normanton in Leicestershire.
