In the Name of God Amen I Elizabeth Brown of Yardley Gubion in the County of Northampton Widow being in health of body and of Sound and perfect mind memory and understanding praised be God for the same but considering the uncertainty of this transitory life do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and forme following (Vizt) First and principally I bequeath my soul unto the hands of Almighty God my Creator hoping thro’ ye meritorious death and passion of my blessed Saviour and redeemer Jesus Christ to receive full and free pardon of all my sins and to inhabit eternall life And my body I commit to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of My executrix hereinafter named And as to the temporall estate which it hath pleased God to give me I Dispose thereof as followeth Imprimis I give devise and bequeath All my Goods chattels and personall estate whatsoever or wheresoever to my Daughter Susannah Brown And I do make my said daughter Susannah Brown Sole executrix of this my last will and testament And I do hereby revoke and make void all former wills by me heretofore by me made In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seale this four and twentieth day of October in the eleventh year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George by the Grace of God of Great Britain ffrance and Ireland King defender of the faith etc Annoq Domini one thousand seven hundred twenty and four Eliz Browne her mark Signed Sealed published and declared by the Testatrix to be her last will and testament and attested in her presence by us John Jones Al[i]ce Hoorton Richard Nicoll Probate 16th September 1727 France Stanier A.M.
