In the Name of God Amen I Ann Brown of Yardley Gobion in the parish of Potters Pury in the County of Northampton Widow being of a Sound and disposing Mind Memory and Understanding (praised be God for the same) Do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following First and principally I Commend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God my Creator hoping to be saved through the Merits and Mediation of my Blessed Saviour and Redeemer Jesus Christ And my Body to the Earth to be decently Interred at the discretion of my Executors hereinafter named And as to my temporal Estate I dispose thereof as followeth I Give to my Son George Brown twenty pounds I Give to my Son Daniel Brown twenty pounds I Give to my Daughter Ann Homan twenty pounds I Give to my Daughter Martha Hillyer ten pounds I Give to my Daughter Hannah Jeffery ten pounds And I do direct that the Aforesaid Legacies Shall be paid by my Executors hereinafter named out of my personal Estate within twelve Months next after my decease But my Will is and I do declare that if any or either of my said Sons or Daughters shall happen to dye before their respective legacies shall become due and payable that the legacy or legacies of him her or them so dying Shall Sink to my Executors All the rest Residue and remainder of my Goods Chattels Effects and personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever the same can or may be found (my debts if any I should owe at the time of my decease and legacies being first paid and discharged) I Give the same unto my Son Thomas Brown and my Daughter Mary Brown Equally And I do make my said Son Thomas Brown and my Daughter Mary Brown Executors of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and seal the Eighteenth day of September in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and sixty seven
