In The Name of god Amen this 25th: day of May Anno Dom: 1680 The Last will and testiment of Thomas ffountin of Yardley Goboon in the Parish of Potterspery in the Countie of Northampton beinge very sick and weake in Bodie but of good and parfitt Memory praised be god for it doe make my Last will and testiment first I give and bequeith my soule unto god trustinge in the Death and Merits of his Deerly beloved son and my saviour the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved my bodie I give to the Earth whereof it was made to be bried and for my worldly goods which god hath Lent me I give and bequeith as ffoloweth

I give and bequeith to my son: William ffountin all that orchard or Close of ground I Bought or purchased of Luke Whitton Scituated one the North side of my now dwelling House the ffoote way, Leading to Stoney Stratford towards the west To him my said son William ffountin and his Heires for ever and to have it at the Age of one and Twenty yeares

I give to my daughters Ann ffountin and Elinor ffountin and Susana ffountin foure pounds a peice to be paid them by my son John ffountin within one yeare next after he Comes to have my House I now dwell in

I give unto to my daughters Ann Elinor and Susana ffountin all those goods that there one Mother and I had between us at the time of hir death only Excepted one Bedsted and fflock Bed and Rugg and Curtins the said Bedsted fflock bed and Rugg and Curtins I give to my now wife Isabell ffountin and my mind is that those goods given to my Three daughters to be Equally devided Amongst them three

All the Rest and Residue of my goods and Chattles whatsoever not heare in given and legacies I give and bequeith unto my well beloved wife Isabell ffountin and it is my will and minde that my said wife dwell or live in my House until my son John ffountin shall otherwise dispose of it or Com to it himselfe or or that she shall have Certin information of his death: all waies provided that my said wife Isabell ffountin Keepes Hirselfe a Widdow or Unmarried and Keepes the said House in good Honest Repairs it is my Will and Minde that my Wife Isabell ffountin doe take in to hir Care and to maintaine for seaven years my Youngest daughter Susana ffountin and it is my will and mind that my daughter Susana ffountin worke for and be obedient to hir Mother in Law so long as she is with hir

It is my will and minde that aney of my Three daughters have House Roome in my House with thare Mother so long as they Keepe them selves single or unmarried or until my son Come or doth dispose of it

It is my will and Mind that  I be buried at the discrosion and the sole Charge of my Louving wife Isabell ffountin and that she pay all my debts not doubting of hir Care and ffaithfullnes herein I doe Make and Nominate and Apoynte hir my said wife Isabell ffountin and my daughter Ann ffountin both of them Executrexes of this my Last will and testiment Signed Sealed and Declared to be my last will and testament in presence of
