In the Name of god Amen this 17th day of Aprill in the yeare of our Rede.tion 1675 the Last will and Testament of Thomas Sargent alias Hughes of Yardley Gobeon in the parish of Potters pury in the Countie of Northampton beinge Sick and weake in bodie but of good and parfet Memory doe hereby make my Last will and testament in Manner and forme folowing first I give my soule to god who gave it me and my bodie to be buried and for my worldly goods which god hath given me I give and bequeath as ffolowath

Imprimis: I give and bequith unto my well be Loved wife Ann Sargent alias Hughes all my Howsold goods that are undisposed of and Two Cowes and a hoge that are on my yard and all my Crop of grayne both Corne pease wheat and Hay now groweing and also I give more to my Said wife Ann Sargent alias Hughes Thirty and ffive pounds in money 15l beinge due from my son Thomas Horton the Like sum of 15l beinge due from John Read of Ashton and ffive pounds due from gabrell Tomes of Potters pury

Item I give to ffrancis Blunt of Ashtown my son in Law the sum of ffifteene poundes to be paid him with in Six monthes After my desease by my son in Law Thomas Horton be that 15l I promised Heanry Blunt when Hee married my datur Jane Sargent alias Hughes

Item I give unto my gradson John Horton my mare Colt I give to my son in Law Thomas Horton my malt mill and salting trough

all the Rest and Residue of my Estat my debts and Legasices being paide I give unto my Aforsaid well beloved wife Ann Sargent Alias Hughes whom I doe Appoynt my sole Executrix of this my last will and testament I doe Apoynt my son in Law Thomas Horton Overseere of this my will desiring him to be Asistant to my said Executrix in all hir the Executine this my will in wittnes heere of I have Heere sett my Hand and Seale the day and yeer first above written

I give I desire my Executrix to give my grand dafter Ann Blunt the sum of Three pounds
