In the Name of God Amen I William Brown of Yardley Gobeon in the County of Northampton Yeoman being weak of body but of perfect mind and memory through the mercy of God Do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say), First and principally I commend my soul into the hands of Almighty God my Creator hoping that through the merits of Jesus Christ to obtain pardon and remission of all my sins and to Inherit everlasting life; And my body I commit to the earth to be buried at the discreation of my executor hereafter named. And as touching such worldly Goods wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me with. I dispose of as follows, first my will is that all my Just debts to be paid and Funeral expences be discharged by my Executors hereafter named Item I Give and devise unto my Son Richard Brown a Moiety or half part of Messuage or Tenement situate in Yardley Gobeon aforesaid to him and his Heirs and Assigns for ever, I also Give to my Grandson William Brown son of my said son Brown my silver Pint, Item I Give unto my said son Richard Brown and Daniel Brown all my wearing Apparel to be divided equally between them. I also Give to my son John Browns three Children five Pounds each when the arrive at the Age of twenty one Years and in case either of them die before the come to Age the other to have the other share And to receive ten shilling yearly until they come of age afore I Likewise Give to Mary Bignal, Hannah Rockingham, Ann Onan, Pricillah Swain, Grace sanders and Daniel Brown All my Household goods and Furniture, Corn of all sorts Horses, Cows sheep Hogs Waggons Carts together with all bills Bonds of what kind so ever or wherever to be equally divided, share and share alike But not to pull up any of the dead mounds in the Fields, nor Flakes in the stable Cow House

And lastly I do hereby nominate my said son Richard Brown and Daniel Brown aforesaid the Sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament utterly disannulling all former Wills by me heretofore made ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this third day of October in the year of our Lord 1785

Probate On the 29th of December 1786 Richard Brown and Daniel Brown the Executors named in the within Written Will were then at the Petition of Smith sworn faithfully to fulfil the same and that the deceased at the time of his Death was not possessed of goods and effects to the amount of three hundred Pounds
