In the Name of God Amen The Twenty Sixth Day of November One thousand Seven Hundred and Thirty Eight I Thomas Scot of Yardley Gobion in ye County of Northampton Do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in Manner following That is to say first and principally I commit and commend my soul into ye Hands of Almighty God who gave it me hoping to receive free Remission and fforgivness of all my Sins And my Body to ye Earth from whence it came to be decently interred therein as herein after ordered and directed And as for such temporal Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me I give and dispose of ye Same as followeth. First my Will is that all my just Debts and ffuneral Charges be paid and discharged Also I give and devise to my Lo: friend Hugh Boswell of Yardley Gobion aforesaid ye Sum of Thirty pounds of lawfull Money of Great in trust to be put out at Interest for ye Use and Benefit of Sarah Winkles Daughter of George Winkles of Yardley aforesaid to be paid to her (Principal and Interest) by ye said Hugh Boswell his Heirs Executors or Administrators when she shall attain ye Age of One and Twenty Years. But if it shall happen ye said Sarah Winkles shall die before she shall attain ye Age aforesaid Then I give and devise ye said sum of Thirty pounds and ye Interest due thereon to ye said Sarah Winkles Senior.

Also all ye rest of my Money Goods and Chattels I give unto Sarah Winkles ye Wife of George Winkles aforesaid she being at ye Expence of three pounds for my decent burial Lastly I make constitute and appoint ye above named Hugh Boswell Executor of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal ye Day and Year above written.
