John Battams 1675

 

Memorandum That John Battams late of Yardley Gobyon in the parish of Potterspury in the County of Northampton batcholer upon or about the Twenteth day of Aprill last past being then sick and weak of bodie but of good and perfect mind and memory did make and declare his last will nuncupative before Thomas Horton and Richard Sargeant of the same as followeth vizt he did give and bequeath unto John Battams  Jane Battams and Jone Battams the three youngest children of his brother William Battams decd all his estate whatsoever which he was possessed of And being asked and demanded whether William Battams his said brothers eldest sonne should have any thing out of his said  estate he answered no for he had somewhat already And said that his Sister in Law Jane his said bothers widow should be satisfied for the trouble which he had putt her to out of his said estate And about two dayes after the said John Battams departed this life
