In the Name of god Amen I John Browne of Yardly goebin in the parish of Potterspury in the County of Northampton Laborer Doe make this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form folowing and first my Will is that my body be Decently Buried and that teen shillings be given to ye then minister of this parrish to preach me a funerall sermon in the parish church and my will is that four pounds and teen shillings be Laid out in cake and bread and given away at my funerall to such as attend my funerall as my Executers hereafter named shall Direct in the next place my will is that my sister Hanah Griffin have my Dwelling house and I Doe hereby give it to her and her heirs for Ever she allowing quiet and peaceable posetion of the same to my Executers of this my Last will conveniant time for the Distributing of my Efects as herein after Directed, and I Doe herby give and bequeth Devise unto Mr Thomas Horton Gentleman and unto Mr. John Boswell Baker both of this towne all my moneys Bonds goods and Chattles whatsoever and wheresoever and all other my personall Estat in trust for the uses here after mentioned that is to say I give unto my Kinswoman Sarah fowkes fivety pounds forty wherof is out uppon Bond now in the hands of John William and Frances Clarke the other teen pounds to be paid her out of my other moneys now in hand all which summ of fivety pounds to be paid her when she arriveth at the age of one and twenty years and If she Dieth before she arriveth to that age then the said sum of fivety pounds shall be paid unto Anthony fowkes her father and my will is and I Doe hereby give unto him also my clock and my jron Barr and I Doe allso give unto my Kinswoman Sarah fowkes my bed in the parlor with the beding and all the things belonging to it and I allso give her a Holland sheet and my warming pan, and my will is that my sister Hanah Griffin have my Long table and the Long table cloth and my hanging press: and I give unto my sister griffins Daughter Judy Brion five pounds and unto her Daughter Ellizabeth Marshell five pounds, and unto her Daughter Sarah Bunyon five pounds and unto Hannah Griffin five pounds allso which sums of five p[ounds] apiece to be paid to them by my Executers twelve month after my Deceasce: and my will is and I Doe hereby appont Mr Thomas Horton Gentleman and Mr. John Boswell Baker Joynt Executers of this my Last will and Testament Desiering them to Divid the Rest of my household goods amongst my Relations and my will is that my said Executers be fully satisfied and paid for all trouble and charge that may attend the Execution hereof out of my personall Estate and I doe as I have allready Done hereby appoint Mr Thomas Horton and Mr John Boswell Joynt Executers of this my Last Will and Testament in Wittness whereof I have this fiveteenth Day of aprill in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred forty and four set my hand and seall first giving unto them by this my will five pounds apiece as a legacy towards Discargin their Expences in the Execution of this my will
