IIn the Name of God Amen I Robert Hoar of Yardly Gobion in the County of Northampton Being through abundant Mercy and goodness of God though weak in Body yet of sound and perfect Understanding and Memory, Do make this my last Will and Testament, and Desire it may be Received by all as such Imprimis I most Humbly bequeath my soul to God, My maker, beseeching his most Gracious Acceptance of it, Next I give my Body to the Earth, from whence it was taken In full Assurance of its Resurrection from thence at the last Day: As to my Burial I Desire it may be Decent At the Discretion of my Executrix hereafter Mentioned who I Doubt not will Mannage it with all Requisite Prudence; As to those Worldly Goods that God hath Blessed me with I bestow them in manner following (that is to say) Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Abigail Wife of Thomas Woodward the Sum of five Pounds of Good and Lawfull Money of great Brittain to be Paid at the End or Expiration of one year and one Day next after my Decease Item I give and Devise unto My Daughter Mary Wife of William Ratledge the Sum of five Pounds of like Lawfull Money pf Great Brittain to be Paid at the End of one year and a Day after my Decease: and all other the Rest and Residue of My Goods and Chattles and personal Estate; whatsoever to me belonging or in any wise appertaining after payment of my Debts, Legacies and funeral Expences I give and Devise unto my Daughter Sarah whom I make sole and whole Executrix of this my last will and Testament which I also Charge with the payment of my said legacies In Wittness whereof I have hereunto set my Mark and seal the 27th Day of April in the year of our Lord 1744 Written upon one sheet of paper and Signed with my mark and seal in the Presence of John Hillyer, John Bland and John Preston
