Bond of Admon etc of John Smith late of Yardley Gobion Gent Int. Deseased Dated 4th June 1778

Know all Men by these Present that We Elizabeth Smith of Yardley in the parish of Potterspury in the County of Northampton Spinster and John Smith of Potterspury aforesaid Grazier are held and firmly bound unto the Right Reverend ffather in God John by Divine Permission Lord Bishop of Peterborough in the sum of one Thousand Pounds

Condition of this Obligation is such That if the above bounder Elizabeth Smith the Daughter of John Smith late of Yardley Gobion Gent Intestate Deceased do make or cause to be made a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said Deceased which have or shall come to the Hands Possession or Knowledge of her the said Elizabeth Smith – at or before the last Day of September 1778 – Administration at or before the last day of May 1779

Dated the fourth day of June in the eighteenth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third (1778)

On the 4th day of January 1778 The within bounder Elizabeth Smith was then at the Petition of Smith her Proctor sworn faithfully to administer the Goods etc of John Smith her late Father Intestate Deceased according to law and so Forth
