An extract from:

Know all Men by these Presents that Mr Richard Bland of Yardley Gobeyon in the Parish of Potterspury in the County of Northampton Carpenter, John Smith of the said Parish Grazier and Samuel Smith of Paulerspury in the said County Grazier are and firmly bound unto the Right Revd Father in God John by Divine Permission Lord Bishop of Peterborough in the sum of three hundred Pounds – fourteenth day of January 1791

The Condition of this Obligation is such That if the above bounders Richard Bland the Brother and Administrator of all and singular the Goods Chattles and Credits of Thomas Bland late of Yardley Gobeyon Labourer Intestate deceased

On the fourteenth day of January 1791 the within bounder Richard Bland was then at the Petition of Samuel Smith his Proctor sworn faithfully to administer the Goods Chattles and effects of Thomas Bland his late Brother Intestate deceased according to law and so forth And that the deceased at the time of his death was not possessed of a personal Estate to the amount of three hundred Pounds
