Know all Men by these Present that Mr. Thomas Orton of Yardley in the Parish of Potterspury in the County of Northampton Yeoman Richard Morris of the Town of Northampton Gentleman and Edward Whitaker of same Victualler are held and firmly bound unto the Right Reverend Father in God John by Divine Permission Lord Bishop of Peterborough in the Sum of one Thousand Pounds


The Condition of the within Written Obligation is such that if the within bounder Thomas Orton the Uncle Curator and Guardian lawfully Assigned to John Orton a Minor the Naturall and lawful Son of Mary Orton late of Yardley in the Parish of Potterspury in the County and Archdeaconry of Northampton Widow Deceased Do make or Cause to be made a true and Perfect Inventory of all and Singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said Deceased which have or shall come to the Hands Possession or Knowledge of him the said Thomas Orton or into the Hands and Possession of any Person or Persons for him and the same so made do exhibit or cause to be exhibited into the Registry of the within named Lord Bishop of Peterborough at or before the last Day of February next ensuing And the same Goods Chattels and Credits and all other the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said Deceased at the time of her Death which at any time after shall come to the Hands or Possession of the said Thomas Orton or into the Hands or Possession of any Person or Persons for him do well and truly administer according to Law And further do make or cause to be made a just and true Account of his Administration at or before the last day of November which shall be in the Year of our Lord 1750 or when he shall be thereunto lawfully required Then the within Written Obligation to be void or else to be and remain in full True and Virtue
