John Winmill 1774

In the Name of God Amen I John Winmill of Yardley Gobeon in the County of Northampton Yeoman being sick and weak in body, but of Sound and perfect mind and memory praised be God for the same Do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say) First and principally I commend my soul into the Hands of Almighty God my creator, hoping through the merits of Jesus Christ to obtain pardon and and remission of all my Sins and to Inherit everlasting life: And my body I commit to the Earth to be decently buried at the Discreation of my Executrix hereafter named and as for my worldly Goods that it hath pleased God to bless me with in this life I Bequeath and dispose of in the following manner

Imprimis I give unto my Wife Elizabeth all my Household Goods, Chattles, Bills, Bonds, Mortgages whatsoever or whersoever To her and at her own disposing

Item I nominate and appoint my Said Wife Elizabeth (the whole and sole) Executrix of this my last Will and Testament; and I do hereby utterly revoke disallow and disanul all former Bequests Wills and Legacies by me heretofore in any wise left or made, declaring ractifying and confirming this, and no other, to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this first day of September in the Year of our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred and seventy four

Signed, Sealed, Published and Declared by the above named Testator John Winmill to be his last Will and Testament in presence of  us who subscribed our names in presence of the said Testator and of each other as Witnesses
