In the name of god Amen The Eight day of August in the yeare of our Lord god one Thousand Syxe hundred and ffytene I Anne Scotte of Yardley Gobion in the parishe of Potterpurie within the countie of Northampton widdowe beinge sicke in bodie but of a whole mynde and perfecte remembrance Thankes be to god doe ordayne and make this my last Will and testament in manner and forme folowinge That is to say ffirst I bequeath my soule in to the hands of almightie god the holie and unsepable Trinity The father the sonne and the holie ghost whollie trustinge that though the merrites death and passion of my lord and onlye saviour Jesus Christ I shall be saved; and my bodie to be buried in the parishe Churchyard of Potterspurie aforesaid Item I geve and bequeath to the mother Church of Peterborough foure pence Item I geve and bequeath to my sonne Thomas Scotte my Chafingdishe and Twentie shillinges of currant money of England which money to be payd unto him by my executor hereinafter named, at the end of three yeares next after my deceasse Item I geve and bequeath Item I geve and bequeath to my daughter Ann Bagley my best gowne and alsoe fourtie Shillinges of currante money of England Item I geve and bequeath to my daughter Alice Buston Twentie shillinges of currante money of England to be payd unto her at thend of one yeare next after my deceasse Item I geve and bequeath to my sonne Henrie Scotte Twentie Shillinges of currant money of England to be paid unto him at the end of One yeare after my deceasse, Item I geve and bequeath to my daughter Joan Rawell my fetherbed and alsoe Twentie Shillinges of currant money of England which money to be paid unto her at the end of one yeare after my deceasse Item I geve and bequeath to my sonne William Scotte Twentie Shillinges of currant money of England to be paid unto him at the end of Twoe yeares after my deceasse Item I geve and bequeath to Anne Scotte the daughter of my sonne Richard Scotte my Brasse potte which nowe is daylie used and alsoe my greate Coffer Item I geve and bequeath to my sonne John Scotte the bedsted whereuppon he lyeth and a bolster and mattres with one uppon the sayd bedsted, and the Coverlet which nowe lyeth uppon my bed, and alsoe my little Candlesticke, my wooden Penne [pan] and a little Kettle, and moreover Twentie Syxe Shillinges and eight pence of currant money of England which money to be paid to him at the end of Twoe yeares next after my deceasse Item I geve and bequeath to my sayd sonne John Scotte and to Jane Buston the daughter of my foresaid daughter Alice Buston, my great brasse potte Item I geve and bequeath to all my Childrens daughters all my Lynnen and nyperie to be as equallie parted betweene be them as may be, by the discreation of my overseers of this my will hereafter named Item I geve and bequeath to Jane Bagley the daughter of my daughter Anne Bagley my worst gowne Item I geve and bequeath to Anne Scotte the daughter of my sonne Henrie Scotte my best Candlesticke. Item I geve and bequeath to Marie Scotte the daughter of my sayd sonne Henrie Scotte my Saltseller of pewter Item I geve and bequeath to ffrancis Bagley and to William Bagley Syxe shillinges and eight pence a peece of currant money of England to be payd unto them at the end of three yeares next after my deceasse As the rest of my goodes and Chattells moveable and unmooveable whatsoever herein bequeathed after my funerall expences ended and theis Legacies payd and performed I geve and bequeath to my Sonne Richard Scotte, whome I doe make the executor of this my last will and Testament and I Utterlye revoke all and everie other former wills Testamentes Legacies and bequestes by me in any wise before this tyme made geven or bequeathed and I doe ordayne and make Roger Browne and John Whorlet of Yardley aforesayd the overseers of this my last will and Testament and I doe geve and bequeath to them for their paynes to be taken herein Syxe pence a peece. And in ... that this is my last will and Testament I have hereunto put my hand and seale dated the day and year first above written.
