Martha Denton 1811

This is the last Will and Testament of me Martha Denton of Castle Thorpe in the County of Buckingham Widow as follows That is to say I give and bequeath unto Mr. Thomas Ketely of Castle Thorpe aforesaid and Mr. William Naseby of the same place all my real personal property whatsoever and wheresoever unto the said Mr. Thomas Ketely and Mr. William Naseby and their Assigns for ever Nevertheless my Will is and I do hereby declare the devices by me made to the said Mr Thomas Ketely and Mr. William Naseby and their Heirs as aforesaid are in Trust and Confidence and to and for the Intent and purpose that they the said Mr Thomas Ketely and Mr. William Naseby and the survivor of them and the Heirs and assigns of each Survivor do and shall after my Decease dispose of my property committed to their Care in manner and fform following that is to say I will to my Brother Thomas Truelove the Interest of two hundred pounds of good and lawful Money and after his death I give the said Sum of two hundred pounds to the Children of John and Sarah Astin my Niece born at the time of my Death to be equally divided amongst them share and share alike And to my Sister Catherine Goff the Interest of two hundred pounds for her natural life and after her Decease to the aforesaid Children of John and Sarah Astin to be divided in manner aforementioned But in case all the said Children should die before they come into possession of the Sum or Sums of Money divised as aforesaid then the said Sum of two hundred pounds or four hundred pounds as the Case may be to be equally divided between the Children of Mr. William Naseby of Castle Thorpe and the Children of Sarah Nichols of Cosgrove in the County of Northampton share and share Item my will also is that my said Trustees pay out of my property committed to their care the following Legacies (Viz) to Martha Naseby of Castle Thorpe aforesaid the Sum of Ten pounds To Martha Barron of Castle Thorpe aforesaid the Sum of Ten pounds To Ann Stonton ten pounds To Martha Gordon of Hanslope Bucks ten pounds to Susannah Tooth of Castle Thorpe aforesaid ten pounds to Joseph Kay Senr of Lillingtone Luffield in the County of Oxford ten pounds The residue or remainder of my property I give and Bequeath unto my said Trustees Thomas Ketely and William Naseby aforesaid Lastly I appoint the said Mr. Thomas Ketely and Mr. William Naseby joint Exors. of this my last Will and Testament and do hereby revoke all other Wills by me made and declare this alone to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have set my Hand and Seal this Sixteenth day of October One thousand eight hundred and three Martha Denton (SS) Signed sealed published and declared by the Testator Martha Denton to be her last Will and Testament in the presence of us as Witnesses thereto Thomas Nichols of Castle Thorpe Margaret Aireis of Castle Thorpe R.
