John Parrett 1681

In the name of god Amen I John Parrett of Castle Thurpp in the County of Bucks yeoman being not well in health but of perfect memory thanks be given to god for it doe make and ordaine this my last will and Testament in maner and forme followinge: That is to say first I Commend my Soule into the hands of Allmighty god my maker and redeemer and my body to bee buryed at the will and discrecion of my relation Item I give unto my mother Alis Tympe tenn pounds every yeare out of my Estate which I now Inioy and the other part of my Estate I give unto my Sister Susanna Parrett for the payment of my debts and legacyes and my further will is that my debts being fully satisfied that I doe give unto my uncle Thomas Earles Son one pound if he be then liveing and so likewise to my uncle John Earls Children and my Aunt Susana Abbuts Children each of them that shall be then liveing the like sum of one pound and my further will is that my Sister Susana Parret doe p[ay] unto the poore of Castle Thrupp the use of ten pounds until my Debts be fully satisfied and then she for to pay ten pounds to the use of the porre Aforesaid into some honest mans hand that will give in good securyti for the same the use for the same money to be given on St John the Baptist and on St Thomas dayes the first day of payment to begin at either of them first following after my death and my further will is my Sister Susana Shall pay unto my brother and sister Thomas and Elizabeth Tympe the sum of five pounds to each of them when they shall Acccomplish the age of twenty and foure yeares and doo Apoint John Earle and John Cooke to be overseers of this my said will and Testament and doe give them xijd a peece
