Elizabeth Walton 1845

In the Name of God Amen I Elizabeth Walton of Castlethorpe in the County of Buckingham being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding do this 23rd day of April in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and forty four make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say First I desire to be decently buried in the Churchyard of the Parish of Castlethorpe Also I give all my Goods Money and Personal Effects after the payment of my Debts and Funeral Expenses unto my thre Brothers viz William Walton of Alderminster in the County of Worcester Thomas Walton of Preston on Stour in the County of Gloucester and John Walton of Preston Bassett near Henley in Arden in the County of Warwick and to my two Nephews John Talbot and Thomas Talbot and also to Richard Talbot the Father of the aforesaid John and Thomas Talbot in manner and form following that is to say The whole of the aforesaid Money Goods and Personal Effects is to be divided into four equal shares One of which shares I hereby give to the aforesaid William Walton and one share to the aforesaid Thomas Walton and one share to the aforesaid John Walton or to their respective Children in equal Moieties should either of my Brothers die prior to my decease or the payment of the Legacies and the remaining one share I give to the aforesaid John Talbot Thomas Talbot and Richard Talbot to be equally divided among them and I do hereby make constitute and appoint Mr Richard Soden of Castlethorpe aforesaid sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof revoking all former Wills I have to this my last Will and Testament set and subscribed my hand and seal the day and year first above written
