Articles of Agreement between Anthony Potter, yeoman and Henry Atkins of London, Doctor of Physick and Phisison (physician) in Ordinary to his Majesty.

Anthony is seized for life of John Harley, and for 21 years in reversion after decease of John, of a messuage or farm and certain lands in Newport Pagnell by virtue of an Assignment dated the 2nd May 2 Chas (1626) which was a Demise to Sir Henry Hobart, Sir James Fullarton, Sir John Walter, and Sir Thomas Trevor, amongst other things, of the Honor of Ampthill and the Manors and Rights thereto appertaining.

Pasture Grounds late parcel of Tickford Park and a messuage in Tickford wherein Robert now dwelleth, with yard and backside adjoining, and the herbage and grass which shall yet be growing and increasing in the pasture grounds and meadow now in the occ of RW and HS adjoining the ground called the Sawpit ground and all that barn of 2 bayes standing upon part of the pasture, Rent £40 10s pa to be paid at or in the Mansion House commonly called Tickford Abbey or Tickford Priory, situate and being in Tickford. Tenants to maintain the houses hereby demised and the gate standing in the fence at the North East of the barn aforesaid and likewise to maintain hedges and ditches.

On a separate sheet attached to the deed is the following,

Imprimis in the Hall two windows glassed with glass and two oaken shuttes there and fower (four) severall doores in the hall, the hall door having lock and keys to it.

And the chamber and the milkhouse the room filled round with wainscott the --- there of wainscot the same room boarded underfoot and three glass windows in the same room one having a shutt of wainscot and a wainscott door.

Item two little rooms over the hall two glasse window with shutt and then two doors and the same boarded underfoot.

Item two paires of oaken stairs out of the hall going into the chamber.

Item in the milkhouse three glass windows with oaken shuttes to them and a door, lock and keys.

Item in the Garrett chamber a two leaved window with hinges and one shutt window and the room well parged overhead.

Item in the Kitchen there a window of glass and shutt to it and an oaken and a partition lathed in the kitchen.

Item the great yard pailed round about with a high paile
