Stoke Goldington Millennium Wall Hanging

The Borders

Lettering

As we approached the deadline of the Unveiling date in May 2002, we worked on the lettering along the bottom curved border whilst, at the same time, continuing to sew the fields in the centre, and the borders along the top and down the sides.

At the same time as sewing the lettering, by March 2002, we had started to stitch what we called 'enhancements' such as adding pot and climbing plants to the houses and horses, sheep and bales in fields.
