This was the last working farm in the village. The tenancy had been in the Powell family for two generations. It has a number of outbuildings which have mostly been converted into residences. There is an interesting granery with its original timber fittings which sits on staddle stones.

The building was listed in 1975 with listing particulars as follows.

SP 83 NE MILTON KEYNES MILTON KEYNES VILLAGE 4/77 Southside Farmhouse II House. Early C19 front to older building,altered. Chequer brick, hipped old tile roof, 2 brick chimneys, 4 altered gabled dormers. 2-storeys and attic, 1st floor band to LH flank elevation. East front of S. slightly irregular bays, 3 pane sashes in reveals, segmental arches to ground floor. 6 panel door in 2nd bay from LH, segmental headed fanlight of 5 panes in semicircular headed lattice porch with radiating head and hexagonal pattern in fascia.
