The name 'Nurses Cottage' is fairly modern deriving from the fact that the District Nurse lived there in the mid twentieth century.

SP 83 NE MILTON KEYNES MILTON KEYNES VILLAGE 4/76 No.10, Nurses Cottage II Cottage. C17 altered. Timber framed with colourwashed brick infilling, thatched roof, flanking brick chimneys, 1 storey and attic, north front has 2 2-light casements to ground floor, 1 eyebrow dormer. S. front has glazed lean-to conservatory and 2 eyebrow dormers. East wing of colourwashed stone and brick with old tile roof, half-hipped gable to street, with door and 3-light casement to ground floor, 3-light attic window.
